The Dictionary of the Old Testament: Wisdom, Poetry & Writings was recently released by Intervarsity Press. IVP’s series of dictionary titles is very popular and well written, and this newest volume is sure to not disappoint. Edited by Tremper Longman and Peter Enns, this book is a collection of 148 articles by 90 contributors on Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs, Lamentations, Ruth and Esther. Make sure that you don’t pass it up!
